Vincent Thomas bridge connects San Pedro to Terminal Island as part of LA County Route 47. Some facts about the bridge from the given link: the third largest suspension span bridge in California, opened to traffic on November 15, 1963, and named after a former California Assemblyman, who was most responsible for its construction.

Tash: What a neat photo of the bride, quite the span.
Love how you've got taht bend in leading you into the image and onto the bridge.
We crossed this bridge when we went to visit my brother's girlfriend in San Pedro this summer. The towers were wrapped in something--maybe they were being painted.
