"Bridges Between" - Vincent Thomas Bridge, Long Beach, CA
This is my first contribution to RuneE's Broer som Binder [Bridges between]. 
Vincent Thomas bridge connects San Pedro to Terminal Island as part of LA County Route 47. Some facts about the bridge from the given link: the third largest suspension span bridge in California, opened to traffic on November 15, 1963, and named after a former California Assemblyman, who was most responsible for its construction.

"Bridges Between" - Gerald Desmond Bridge, Long Beach, CA
Gerald Desmond Bridgeconnects Terminal Island with downtown Long Beach and northbound Interstate 710, passing over shipping channels below the bridge.
