Fićo & me

Fall 1968, by Lake Modrac near Tuzla, Bosnia

My friend TJ has been reading Yugo: the Rise and Fall of the World's Worst Car. This reminded me of the most loved car produced in the former SFRJ -- Fićo (Zastava 750). This was our tiny Fićo (notice the "suicide" doors). My uncle used to laugh watching my 6'2" father "fold" himself into the drivers seat.

This is shortly before you immigrated, isn't it? Look how lanky you are here. I was only lanky between the ages of 6-8.

Weird car. Don't really understand the logic as to how the doors are situated.
