I was so delighted when I came upon this mural during an early morning walk in Monterey on last year's Thanksgiving Day. I thought it a wonderful idea to place a mural on the remaining wall of an old cannery. It seems that the fishermen are about to set off into the water. The title and artists' names are written along the upper edge of the boat.

The aged concrete which has wonderful variation in itself, is allowed to stand against the subtlety of the Rembrant brown palate. Kind of a shame we no longer are able to sustain murals in SoCal.
