LA Public Library - Harbor City-Harbor Gateway Branch
I discovered the library while driving home on Western Ave. The bright yellow roof and the angles of the building are striking. Location: 24000 S. Western Harbor City, CA 90710
The city of Los Angeles passed a bond awhile back to expand and create new libraries. This group of architects who work for the city have been doing a spectacular job on the libraries as well as other civic structures. Love them or hate them, they are certainly contemporary and bold.

Bonjour !
Y a t'il beaucoup de livres dans cette librairie ???
Such a striking unique piece of architecture! There is a real feel of being an oasis in the desert!

It is a handsome building. i love it when there's strong support for public institutions, especially libraries.
