This sign adorns the last standing commercial airplane manufacturing building of the old Douglas Company in Long Beach, CA. The sign faces the Long Beach Airport runway. I wish I could fly a DC Jet. For me, there's not an aircraft as beautiful as the DC-8, DC-10 and MD-11.
I like the effect you got here. Whenever I drive by this sign (seems to always be in the daytime) it reminds me so much of the 1950's and 60's, just due to the design of it.
