Lunch at Jongewaard’s Bake 'n Broil - Long Beach, CA

Cafe Pasadena - this post is for you.

Bake 'n Broil is a traditional American diner with really good food and very reasonable prices. The place is small and gets very crowded - for a reason. The decor especially in the front room is so lovely.

This is my favorite meal - quiche of the day, with a bran muffin and side salad.

My friend had a tastly Cajun chicken sandwich.
See what I mean about the decor?

The restaurant is located on Atlantic Ave. at corner of 36th St.

The decor is great... but look at those portions!!! Yum, I'm hungry all over again and it's way past dinnertime here.

Lovely place, must bookmark it for future travels.
