Mr V once told me that although UCLA would not except him in their graduate program he did play a part in building the art department (he was on the construction crew). Later he ended up teaching there.
(He was invited to do so in the design department by one of your fellows, a guy named Vasa. Born in Otocac...a small Croation town in Yugoslavia)
